Family Intervention

The Family Intervention Program provides services to parents with children ages 0-17 who may be:

  • Experiencing normal parenting stresses;
  • Having difficulty negotiating relationships between members of the family;
  • Going through a period of grief or loss as a result of separation, divorce or death;
  • In contact with child welfare agencies;
  • Have infants or newborns and require additional support and assistance to parent their children.

These services include parent education, information on infant care/development, child development, counseling, advocacy, emergency food/supplies for infants, and referrals to other community based agencies.   Referrals are prioritized based on need, age of children, and assessment of risk.

We also offer a Family Reunification Aftercare Program which helps reintegrate at risk youth who have been taken into a care facility back into their family home.
